to be the happening area, where all the newest and most
important redevelopment properties in St. Louis downtown
are happening at the MX. From the Ballpark Village to the
Washington Ave Loft District and from the Post Office District
and the Lumiere Place, the St. Louis Mercantile Exchange
or MX community is going to be a ball of fun watching during
the development stages.
The redevelopment plans for Mercantile
Exchange
The downtown area is planned to be zoned for a monumental
re-development real estate plan that has never been undertaken
in the city of St. Louis MO. From over five hundred and
twenty five thousand square feet of office space (graded
Class A) to a large boutique hotel of over two hundred guest
suites as well as four hundred and fifty thousand sq ft
of retail space, the Mercantile Exchange downtown St. Louis
masterplanned community is going to be an economic and tourist
engine driving the economy of the city. In addition to this,
the master plan calls for MX condo tower homes and will
include one hundred and seventy five Mercantile Exchange
condo residences, the first being the Laurel presales luxury
condos in Saint Louis. In addition, there will be one hundred
and twenty planned residential apartments in the heart of
the MX St. Louis which will be rental suites. With tree
lined streets, glass and steel high-rise towers, lots of
retail, coffee bistros, restaurants and an urban vibe, the
downtown St. Louis MX district is bound to become one of
the signature master built communities in all of the united
States and will ultimately transform the city core for the
better. The team behind the vision, development and planning
includes General Growth and Pyramid Properties. The MX district
of Mercantile Exchange will be home to many summer festivals,
concerts, sports events and cultural shows as it will become
